Environmental and social justice activists who were spied on by undercover police officers talk about their experience. They will also talk about the history of Britain’s political secret police and the current and pending inquiries and other responses from the state.
They will also detail what is known about the career of St Andrews lecturer Bob Lambert who spied on political acitivsts as a Special Demonstration Squad officer before going on to run the unit, overseeing spying on black justice campaigns such as that of Stephen Lawrence’s family.
There will be plenty of time for questions from the audience.
